Our Story
It started with a simple question: what if what we waste was actually worth snacking on?
We saw how many perfectly good citrus peels were being thrown away and knew there had to be a better way.
After 86 iterations, we created citrus peel candies packed with 20g of Vitamin C. What began as a university project has grown to 20+ retail locations and counting.
Today, Second Savour is on a mission to make sustainability simple, accessible, and enjoyable – turning surplus fruit into snacks that taste good and do good.
What We Do
We take surplus citrus peels and turn it into craveable snacks. We partner with local smoothie shops and grocery stores to collect citrus peels that would otherwise be discarded after juicing. Instead of going to waste, these peels are upcycled into chewy, flavour-packed treats.
No artificial additives. No unnecessary waste. Just real fruit, reimagined.
